This chimed with me a lot. Maybe because my favourite film is The Sound of Music so I've considered being a nun too. But mainly because I'm going through this exact thing. I took voluntary redundancy to go freelance but am having a wobble six months later. When pitches aren't turning into commissions, it's tempting to pick up any freelance job, no matter how low paid. But I know I'm worth more. Trying to keep my nerve until I find the right balance.
